Proenza Schouler designers Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough met in class at Parsons School of Design and joined forces on their senior thesis project in 1999. They coined their collection Proenza Schouler, after their mothers’ maiden names, and quickly built a reputation for an edgy, youthful twist on upscale style (winning the CFDA’s Perry Ellis Award in 2003 didn’t hurt). Clean lines pave the way for skillful detailing in each creation, from handbags to these fashion-forward sunglasses, from a label that is not only always ahead of the pack, but will stand the test of time. I absolutely love Proenza Schouler Sunglasses, and the brand in general- the classy and edgy style of the label. Their shoes are clothes are unique and every piece looks like a work of art.
